Join us for either Part 1 or Part 2 of our FREE Youth Ancestral Cooking Class Series where we will be making Mole For Part 1 of the cooking class series, youth will be recreating Frida's family mole recipe. For Part 2 of the cooking class series, youth will be making Mole Verde, a unique style of mole. Both moles will be featured at the Festival del Mole happening on July 20th from 2pm-8pm. Learn why mole is an important cultural dish in Mexico and why learning about our ancestral foods is important to our community's cultural preservation. This class is for BIPOC/Latinx identifying youth in the Southwest Denver community who are between the ages of 12-18. Youth participants may participate in one or both parts of the Mole cooking class series.
