Join us for our FREE Danza Mexika Summer Camp, a unique week-long experience designed to immerse BIPOC youth (ages 6-18) in the rich cultural traditions of the Mexika. This camp offers a variety of activities that blend traditional dance, arts, and philosophical teachings, culminating in a final ceremony that honors the current veintena according to the Tonalmachiotl (Aztec Calendar).

Camp Activities Include:
- Step-by-Step Danza Lessons: Learn the intricate footwork and symbolism of Danza Mexika,
- Huehuetl Lessons: Learn traditional drumming.
- Gardening and Ancestral Cooking: Plant seeds, work with the Earth, and participate in cooking classes that connect you to ancestral practices.
- Tonal Chart Readings: Receive your Tonal, with chart placements based on the day you were born according to the Mexika Calendar.
- Arts and Crafts Activities: Engage in hands-on arts activities that teach and connect you to ancestral traditions.
- Philosophical Teachings: Participate in platicas (discussions) and story time activities that explore Mexika philosophy.
