This month, Noches de Hecho celebrates the launch of Raíces del Corazón, Westwood’s newest worker cooperative.
For years, the promotoras behind Raíces del Corazón have been caretakers and the heart of our community. After losing their jobs last year, they chose to build something new together. Over the past six months, they’ve participated in the Community Wealth Building's Worker Co-op Academy, officially graduating last month and launching their own worker cooperative.
Join us for an evening of community as we celebrate their launch, learn to make huaraches, create recycled mini planters, and support the next chapter of their journey.
All proceeds from the evening will go directly to Raíces del Corazón.
