Join us for this month's Noche de Hecho - P5: Salsas de Westwood: Hot Mics, Hot Takes & Hot Salsas
A community salsa competition and conversation about the issues shaping our neighborhood, our elections, and our future.
Westwood comunidad is invited to submit a salsa and/or a question about the topics impacting our community. During the first hour, community members will taste and vote on their favorite and hottest salsas, review community-submitted questions, and help decide which issues will guide the evening conversation.
During the second hour, Paul López from the Clerk & Recorder's Office, David Martinez from the Caucus of Color, Tim Hernandez, community organizer, and other community leaders will take on Westwood's hottest and top-voted salsas while responding to the questions selected by the community in a conversation moderated by Sarahi Hernandez. Community members will also have the opportunity to ask follow-up questions, share their perspectives, and join the discussion.
🏆 Prizes of up to $100 will be awarded for the favorite and hottest salsas and top community questions.
Whether you're bringing a salsa, submitting a question, or simply showing up to listen and connect, join us as we heat up the conversation and make sure Westwood's voices are heard on the issues that matter most to our community.
