Frida Self-Portrait Community Art Show

Frida Kahlo is known for painting many self-portraits that expressed her cultural identity, strong political values, and innermost feelings and passions. These portraits gave viewers an intimate look inside the complexities of who Frida was as a person and an artist. For this art show, we are asking local community artist to submit artwork that highlight their own identities.

Important Art Show Dates

Art Drop Off:

• Opening Night, First Friday: 7/7, 5-8pm
• La Noche de Frida: 7/21, 6-9pm
• Festival del Mole: 7/22, 2-8pm
• Closing Reception, First Friday: 8/4, 5-8pm

no entry fees!

• Thursday, 6/29 & Friday, 6/30: 5pm-8pm
• Saturday, 7/1 & Sunday, 7/2: 10am-2pm

• Tuesday - Friday, 8/8-8/11: 5pm-8pm
