- Friday night (November 3 from 6pm-10pm) is ‘Mikailwitl: El Camino a Miktlan,’ a celebration honoring our ancestral traditions before colonization. The event features Grupo TRIBU from Mexico City, a stunning Ofrenda adorned with local artists’ installations and community altars and a Danza Mexika Ceremony and a procession down Morrison Rd.
- Saturday (November 4 from 12pm-7pm) is ‘Muertos en el Barrio,’ celebrating the Chicano and Mexican-American community’s reclamation of Dia de Muertos. Enjoy lowriders, live painting by Xencs Wing, Throwback Photo Booth by Anthony Maes, Photo Exhibition by Armando Geneyro, local vendors, and our headliner The Mananas. In Lak'ech Denver Arts closes Saturday with their annual ‘Viva la Vida - A Celebration of Life’ student performance.
- Sunday (November 5 from 11am-5pm) brings ‘Festival de las Catrinas,’ highlighting today’s iconic Muertos representation. Enjoy Hugo's lucha libre, flower crown making stations, Catrina face painting, Mariachi, and more. Sangre de Mexico finishes the weekend long celebration with their ‘Mis Dulce Catrinas’ presentation.
